Naturipe Blackberries and Brie Grilled Cheese

Sweet, savory, and mouthwateringly melty. Naturipe Blackberries and brie take grilled cheese to the next level – rich, creamy, just a bit tangy…and a sprinkle of sea salt to take it over the top.

INGREDIENTS

  • Grilled Cheese
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 3 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh Naturipe Blackberries, slightly mashed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Pinch of sea salt

DIRECTIONS

1. Prepare the bread – spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough.

2. Assemble the sandwich – on the unbuttered side, layer brie slices and mash blackberries. Drizzle with honey and a pinch of sea salt.

3. Cook – heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the pan, buttered side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the brie is melted.

4. Serve – slice in half, let the melted goodness ooze out, and enjoy!
