Introducing your new favorite Old Fashion. Spruce up your typical old fashioned with our Honey Lemon Old Fashion! This cocktail melts the favors of honey, cherry and lemon into a perfectly balanced Old Fashion.
INGREDIENTS
Old Fashion
4 Naturipe frozen cherries
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 cup ice, or as needed
2 fluid ounces honey whiskey
1 fluid ounce sweet vermouth
½ teaspoon lemon juice, or to taste
Lemon peel for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Place cherries in a low ball glass and splash with bitters. Muddle cherries until smashed to desired consistency.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; pour in whiskey, vermouth, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
Cover and shake vigorously, and pour cocktail over cherries.
Don’t have honey whiskey? Use ½ oz of simple syrup with your favorite bourbon or rye whiskey.
